曾經在網上看過一首叫做《但是你沒有》的某英文婦人寫給自己因戰爭去了越南而留下了太太跟孩子的先生。

而婦人跟女兒相依為命的結果是得到先生戰死的消息，這首詩是在婦人的女兒在整理遺物的時候發現當年母親寫給父親的詩

　　Yes, there were lots of things you didn't do。

 

　　But you put up with me, and loved me, and protected me。

　　when you returned from Vietnam。
